UREC and Halong Shipyard subordinate to Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (VINASHIN) signed a contract in August 2006 for the export of a 400t gantry crane with the span of 110M. After the process of manufacture, installation and commissioning for around two years during which a lot of difficulties like typhoon and international finance crisis had been conquered, the gantry crane was handed over and accepted by Halong Shipyard on December 31, 2008. With the largest lifting capacity, the longest span and some advanced functions such as lifting giant components and turning over blocks in the air, the gantry crane is now the No. 1 in Vietnamese shipyards, even the main girder of which weighs up to 1200t. The gantry crane is well designed and equipped and can be easily operated with the perfect safety system, which has been highly praised by the customer for both its excellent quality and our earnest services.
