Chinese first sales contract on exporting engineering vessels was signed between UREC and Myanmar Inland River Bureau for the supply of 3 dredgers on 8th June 1999. The dredgers were formally put into use on 21st June 2001 and have always been working well in dredging up and desilt the mud of the inland rivers in Myanmar.
