Nam Mu Hydropower Station is located in Ha Giang Province of northern Vietnam and is 60KM from Tianbao trade pass of Wenshan, Yunnan Province of China. The station is installed with 3 hydraulic generator of 4.0MW with the total capacity of 12.0MW.

In Vietnam, UREC was selected as the first contractor from China through international competitive bidding to build hydropower projects. The Nammu Hydropower Station was jointly constructed by UREC and Song Da Corporation of Vietnam. The project had won the National Quality Award of Vietnam. UREC also participated in the construction of the 314 megawatt Tuyenquang Hydropower Project. Tuyenquang project was scheduled to generate electric power in 2007 and is the biggest one in Vietnam now.
